Well known for its October festival, this city welcomes lovers of the Edo period.
Still very little known to tourists, this small town near Tokyo offers a fine example of what small towns were like during the Edo period.
We will first visit the Kita-in temple, its garden and its interior. We will continue with the festival museum. Finally, we will walk through the historic streets of the city center, KuraZukuri where you can see Toki no Kane. You can eat local specialties there or stop in traditional Japanese shops.
