The Vinciguerra Glacier and the Laguna de los Témpanos trek offers a great variety of landscapes in a few kilometers. Highlights include Peatland valleys, meltwater rivers, sub-Antarctic forests and the wonderful colors of the mountain environment.
For those who enjoy a full day trekking, with the prize of reaching a unique place.
Distance: 12 km total.
Positive difference in elevation: 545 meters
Terrain: Humid, with mud, roots and trunks. Very steep slopes in the forest.
Timing
8:00 Departure from your hotel in Ushuaia with our transfer.
9:00 Start of the hike
12:00 Arrival at the foot of Vinciguerra Glacier
12:30 Lunch and Ice Trekking with crampons on the glacier
13:30 Return
16:00 Transfer back to Ushuaia
