There's no better way to enjoy the Azores islands than renting a Kayak to explore the Atlantic Ocean.

Enjoy the freedom of paddling in an open sea along the unique coastline of Vila Franca do Campo, where you can spot the beautiful islet.

Rent it for yourself or bring the family aboard (up to 4). We have single, double and quadruple kayaks. Quadruple kayaks are suitable for 3 adults or 2 adults with 2 children (up to 12 years old).

All experience levels are welcome and the equipment is provided for free (vest and paddle). There are 3 kayak rental booking options: 2h, 4h or 6h duration.

The kayaks are safe and comfortable, appropriate for the ocean, therefore difficult to flip in the sea and don't sink.

Please note that this is a kayak rental and not a kayak tour.

IMPORTANT UPDATE ON ACCESS TO THE ISLET OF VILA FRANCA DO CAMPO 2025:

-The opening of the Islet of Vila Franca do Campo to the public is scheduled for June 20, as decided by the Government of the Azores. Therefore, until then, the entry of kayaks onto the islet is expressly prohibited, as well as their remaining outside and entry on foot or swimming.
-In the meantime, we are preparing new kayak rental packages with entry to the islet, which will be available online on our website as soon as the reopening of the islet is confirmed. These packages will have a different price than the “kayak rental” package, as they include access to the interior of the islet's nature reserve.
-When the islet is open to the public, the entry of kayaks inside the islet will only be permitted for those who have purchased the package that includes kayak rental with entry to the islet (another type of additional ticket purchased separately will not be accepted). The simple “kayak rental” reservation does not grant access to the islet, as it is a protected natural area with a daily entry limit.
-We also inform you that this year, by decision of the Government of the Azores, swimming inside the islet is prohibited.
