Discover the traditional method of sparkling winemaking in the unique ambiance of Austria’s oldest and biggest sparkling wine cellar. Immerse yourself into the world of sparkling wine and experience a fascinating journey from the grape to the glass.

    The 60-minute audio tour of the Schlumberger Wine Cellar provides information on the origin of sparkling wine and champagne making and explains how the sparkle is born inside the bottle. Try to “hand-riddle” the bottles on the wooden sloping racks and unravel the secret behind disgorging and dosage. Discover the cellar and the history of Schlumberger which dates back to 1842.

    After the tour, you have the opportunity to enjoy one of the three tasting sets of either sparkling wines, rosé wines, or a mix. Also, have the chance to take home a bottle or two of the famous Schlumberger sparkling wine.
