Morro Dois Irmãos has one of the most incredible views in Rio de Janeiro, completing the landscape of the South Zone coastline with a beauty that has earned it its title as a Rio postcard. We start by taking a motorcycle taxi up to the field, which is the trailhead. You can enjoy the view up close by following a trail that starts in the Vidigal community and ends at the top of the “big brother.” It's a 1.5 km route in 40 minutes, with some steep sections and others not so much. When you reach the summit, you can see the entire South Zone of Rio, its beaches, and the paths drawn in neighborhoods like the Rodrigo de Freitas lagoon, Christ the Redeemer, and the splendid Atlantic Ocean.
