Start your day with a mindful urban running experience in Verona, designed for travelers looking for an active experience in the city that is accessible, relaxed and non-competitive. This morning activity in Verona is ideal for those interested in wellness travel, slow travel and active travel in Italy.

Meet your professional instructor, who is also a dancer, and begin with a guided warm-up focused on posture, breathing and mobility. This Verona running experience combines easy running with body awareness, creating an urban run in Verona that feels fluid and sustainable rather than intense. The pace is flexible and adapted to the group, making it an easy running experience suitable also for occasional runners.

Set off on a gentle morning run through Verona’s historic center, a UNESCO World Heritage area, moving through flat and scenic sections of the city. The route is indicative and flexible, starting in the Arsenale and Castelvecchio area, continuing along the river and through parts of the historic center, and ending near Castelvecchio. The instructor may adapt the route according to the group, weather conditions and overall pace, while maintaining a clear and safe structure. The final area is located about 5 minutes on foot from the Arena di Verona.

Throughout this outdoor activity in Verona, short mobility and stability exercises are integrated into the running flow, supporting coordination, balance and overall well-being. This mindful running approach respects the anatomy and physiology of the body and encourages a deeper connection between movement and environment.

During the experience, participants receive a digital map of Verona’s public drinking fountains, useful both during the run and for the rest of their stay. Bringing a personal reusable water bottle is recommended.

After the run, the group walks together to enjoy a breakfast/brunch included in a selected venue near Castelvecchio. This relaxed moment is an integral part of the experience and offers time to recover, slow down and share the morning in a social and welcoming atmosphere.

The activity is offered as a small group activity in Verona, with a maximum of 10 participants, and is available in English and Italian.

This experience takes place entirely outdoors and runs in most weather conditions. Light rain or cloudy skies won’t stop us, we simply adapt and keep going safely and comfortably.

Only in case of cancellation due to force majeure or severe weather conditions that may affect participants’ safety, the activity may be cancelled.
In such cases, guests will be offered the option to reschedule the experience, choose an alternative Step by Story experience on the same day (subject to availability), or receive a full refund.
