Explore the Zagorje region - Croatian countryside dotted with small hills, vineyards, and castles. Visit the Veliki Tabor Castle, learn more about the local culture at the open-air “Old Village” museum, enjoy a wine tasting experience and savor a local specialty lunch.

Enjoy the scenic views through the Zagorje region. Our first stop will be at Veliki Tabor Castle. Perched on a hilltop, it is a fortified castle from the 15th century. Besides learning about its history in the museum, enjoy scenic views of the hillside.

Next, visit the Old Village museum in Kumrovec. This is an interesting open air museum with different traditional houses from the Zagorje region. Step into each different house to learn more about the tradition and culture. Experience what a local house looks like. Also, visit the birth house of Tito.

Finally, enjoy a wine tasting experience with 3 types of wine. Savor a regional specialty - štrukli for lunch.

In the late afternoon, start your return trip back to Zagreb.
