Double proposal in the environment of the flamenco world, in Vejer where there are activities in this regard of deep roots around it. We've combined a guided tour of the town that will let you learn about its history, culture, monuments, and its connection with flamenco.
And we'll finish off with a flamenco dance class, such as sevillanas, tangos, or bulerías, on the highest terrace in Vejer with views of the town, the Atlantic, and Morocco
As a flamenco expert, born in Triana, and winner of several Sevillana dance competitions, she'll put on a flamenco show (Sevillanas, Bulerías, and Taconeado) in the natural setting of Vejer (a town where, along with Seville and Jerez, flamenco was born), on the terrace with the best views of the town. At the same time, you can take photos of the show, including panoramic views that reach the Atlantic Ocean and Africa. You can even join in and dance with me, so next year you can go to any fair or festival and do some flamenco dancing.
And on the tour, we'll tell you how Flamenco was born and its links with Arab, Jewish, and even black African music, which coexisted in Seville, Jerez, and Vejer itself for centuries, first in harmony and then persecuted by the Inquisition. Even then, there were gypsies, who are the great heirs of the dance, the singing, the guitar playing, and the beat of the palms. While we tour the most emblematic places of my town, I'll show you not only what's related to Flamenco but all its monuments, history, and culture
