The idyllic setting, stunning kayaking on the Nam Song River while admiring these breathtaking scenery together with the amazing opportunity discovering limestone caves, are all that you can explore if joining this Vang Vieng Day tour.

You will transfer to Phatang Resort, located around 18 km north of Vang Vieng. After receiving a brief introduction to the basics of kayaking you will set off down the stunning Nam Song river to experience various small but fun rapids along the way until reaching your first stop at Tham Xang Cave. Here you will walk up to the enormous theater like cave while listening to the local history about the area!

After emerging from the cave, you will go on a short kayaking trip to go to a picnic spot on the riverside where you will have time for lunch. After lunch, you will continue down the river until reaching the next stop at the Organic Farm where they produce mulberry tea and a variety of different fruit wines.

Then, you will continue on downstream until arriving at Tham None Cave which is one of the biggest caves in Vang Vieng! Used to serve as a bomb shelter for local villagers during the Second Indochina War, however, today this Cave is considered as home to a bat family and the 'Magic Stone of Vang Vieng'. A gentle paddle downstream to Vang Vieng where you will arrive just in time to catch the magnificent sunset is the final leg of the journey.
