Valley of Fire is located in the Mojave Desert, 58 miles Northeast of the Las Vegas Strip. This breathtaking valley is the oldest State Park situated in Nevada. The name Valley of Fire comes red sandstone formations, the Aztec Sandstone, which were shaped from shifting sand dunes 150 million years ago.
