Then head to Omaha Beach, the site of one of the most intense battles of D-Day, where American troops faced heavy resistance. Walk along the shoreline and hear the powerful stories of the soldiers who fought here.

The tour concludes at the Normandy American Cemetery in Colleville-sur-Mer, overlooking Omaha Beach. This moving memorial honors more than 9,000 American soldiers who lost their lives during the Normandy campaign.
