Know before you book

  • Children 9 and younger are not allowed.
  • If you are under 18, you must ensure your booking includes at least one adult climber for every two climbers under 18.
  • You must be at least 4-feet (120-cm) tall.
  • You must weigh less than 130 kg (21 stone/286 lbs)
  • You must have a waist measurement less than 49 inches (125 cm) and upper thigh measurement less than 29 inches (75 cm).
  • If you are pregnant, you should not take part.
  • Check-in is 15 minutes prior to the booked tour start time.
  • Climber minimum age: 8 years old.
  • adult:child ratios: 8 - 11 year olds – 1 adult to 2 minors, 12 - 13 year olds – 1 adult to 4 minors, 14 – 17 year olds – 1 adult to 5 minors

What you can expect

Traipse above the roof of the largest indoor venue in London on a thrilling excursion that allows you to bask in glorious views of the city. Follow your guide along a fabric walkway stretching across the O2 toward the center of the arena where panoramic views await.

Meet your guide at the enormous venue and listen to a short briefing explaining everything you need to know before putting on your climb suit, shoes, and safety harness. Your exhilarating jaunt begins on the edges of the O2 roof, where you begin your walk along a suspended fabric walkway hanging 6.5-feet (2-m) above the arena’s dome.

Make your way toward the center, trudging along the walkway 170-feet (52-m) above the ground, angled at 28 degrees and offering a slight bounce to mirror the fluid surface of the tented roof of the dome. Once you reach the summit, stand upon a circular platform and revel in the amazing views of London, as you can see the winding waters of the River Thames and the nearby towering skyscrapers at Canary Wharf. After enjoying the scenery for a while, it’s time to head back down the way you came.

Enjoyable experience. Did not enjoy having to keep focusing on doing the safety chain through the hole continuously as we climbed but my son found it amusing. Once up on top, so lovely and perfect weather. Tip-don't wear heavy clothing if warm as you will be hot the time you reach the top. A big thank you to both Helen and Tim who were both lovely and very helpful.

Had a fantastic day with my 10 year old daughter - the staff were all extremely helpful and Liam, our guide, survived the climb with the 101 questions my daughter asked!!! Am planning on returning with the rest of the family. Thank you
