Decoration: Crafts, local musical instruments (such as the güiro or drum), religious paintings or family photos. Environment: It is usually surrounded by cocoa, coffee, sugarcane or tobacco plantations, with loose animals such as chickens or goats. Tourist function: Some of these houses are adapted for cultural demonstrations, such as how coffee is ground, how artisan tobacco is produced or how coconut oil is extracted.
