What you can expect

Discover Africa’s Hidden Wildlife Gems: Uganda & Rwanda Adventure

This unforgettable journey takes you into the heart of East Africa, where breathtaking landscapes, rich biodiversity, and cultural depth await. Over the course of this adventure, you'll explore Uganda and Rwanda—two of Africa’s most wildlife-rich and welcoming countries.

Your experience begins in either Entebbe or Kigali, where you’ll meet your guide and begin the journey through lush forests, savannah plains, and vibrant communities.

In Kibale National Park, you’ll embark on a thrilling chimpanzee trekking experience. Accompanied by expert rangers, walk through the tropical forest listening for hoots and rustles before meeting a troop of chimps in their natural habitat—a powerful and playful encounter.

Next, explore Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda’s iconic savannah reserve. You'll go on game drives in search of elephants, lions (including tree-climbing lions), hippos, buffaloes, and more. A boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel gives you up-close views of wildlife and countless bird species at the water’s edge.

Continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas. Trekking through thick forest with a ranger guide, you’ll track a gorilla family and spend a magical hour observing them—an experience many describe as life-changing.

This journey also offers authentic cultural experiences. In Bigodi Village, meet local community members, enjoy a guided nature walk, and share a traditional Ugandan lunch. Along the way, visit local markets, craft stalls, and farms to witness rural life.

Your accommodation includes standard guest farms and eco-lodges, offering comfort, local charm, and beautiful settings. Evenings can be spent by the fire, stargazing, or learning about local customs.

The tour concludes in Kigali, Rwanda’s capital, where you’ll visit the moving Genocide Memorial to understand the country’s past and its path to peace. The city also offers great coffee, markets, and a warm farewell to your East African journey.

The tour includes all permits (chimpanzee and gorilla trekking), private transport, park entrance fees, accommodation, and selected meals.

This is a perfect taster of Uganda and Rwanda’s wildlife and culture—a truly immersive safari that blends nature, adventure, and authentic human connection.
