What you can expect
Embark on a 10-day safari to Uganda’s wild life and its nature. See the Big Five and enjoy a boat cruise on the Nile. Track chimpanzees and gorillas and take a boat ride on Lake Bunyonyi.
Day 1: Arrival
Be picked up from the airport by a staff member for Muzbag Safaris and taken to your hotel.Day 2: Murchison Falls National Park
Depart for Murchison Falls National Park. See the rolling rapids of the Murchison Falls and the plains of Uganda’s largest national park.
Get a chance to see lions, buffalo, hart beast, giraffes, crocodiles, elephants, baboons, and hippos. On the way to Murchison Falls, make a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track the white rhinos and have lunch.Day 3: Murchison Falls National Park
Have breakfast early in the morning and then head out across the rolling plains of Uganda’s largest game park. See giraffes, elephants, lions, leopards, a lot of the Uganda kobs, heartbeats, and buffalos.
After lunch, go on a boat ride on the Nile river where you will see crocodiles, hippos, a lot of different birds and the falls.Day 4: Kibale National Park
Have breakfast in the morning and leave for Kibale National Park. Have a lunch break in Fort Portal and then proceedDay 5: Kibale National Park
After breakfast, track the most inhabitants of Kibale National Park, the chimpanzees. They have 98% genes of humans making them our close relatives. There is a total of 5000 chimpanzees approximately in the wild of Uganda.
Trekking is done on different trails well maintained and guided.Day 6: Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, head to Queen Elizabeth National Park. This is the second biggest park in Uganda located at the base of Lake Edward and Lake George. The park has a variety of animals like gazelles, Uganda kob, warthogs, elephants, hippos, leopards, and lions.
Do an evening game drive and after go back to the hotel.Day 7: Queen Elizabeth National Park
Wake up early so that you catch the sunrise, then after you will go for a game drive where you will see elephants, lions, leopards, Uganda kobs, and many warthogs. After lunch, go for a boat ride along the Kazinga Channel where you will see lots of birds, bathing elephants, and hippos.Day 8: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Have breakfast and set off for Bwindi Impenetrable Park. Behind the national game park is well known as the main habitat for mountain gorillas. Over 400 gorillas stay in this park. On this day, you will do less activities, you will just check in and enjoy your lodge as you get ready for the gorilla trekking the next day.Day 9: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, receive some briefing from the ranger about the whole activity, then enter the gorilla sanctuary for a great adventure.
The duration of the tracking depends on the movements of the gorillas. Once you locate a group of gorillas, you will be allowed one hour in their presence. After the tracking you will travel to Lake Bunyonyi.Day 10:
