Visit the Tybee Island Marine Science Center and enjoy a dynamic marine science and nature-based experience. Explore coastal galleries full of live animal exhibits, interactive stations, and life-size animal replicas.

Discover a fossil room, a pirate ship playground, and more. Learn about Georgia’s marine life and coastal ecology through engaging exhibits and programs.

The center is permitted by the state of Georgia to manage five animal conservation programs: The Tybee Sea Turtle Project, The Sea Turtle Stranding and Salvage Network, Diamondback Terrapin Research, Rescue, and Release, Shore and Seabird Rescue, and Marine Mammal Stranding Response.

Choose between different programs such as Whale Tales, Turtle Talk, Marsh Ecology Trek, Beach Ecology Walk, and Sift N' Seine.
