What you can expect

Descend into the ancient salt mine of Turda, known as Salina Turda. The guide will share with you the origin of the salt rock formation and the fascinating history of salt exploitation. Take a walk along the gleaming galleries that look like something straight out of a science fiction movie, the deepest parts of the Earth.

You can take some time on your own to explore and enjoy the gaming and amusement facilities displayed in the underground. Or you can simply have a seat, relax, breathe in the healthy salty air and, why not, imagine how it could have been if a Batman movie was shot inside. Depending on the arrival time (traffic influenced), the visit inside will last around two hours.
