    Next, head to Tojiro, one of Japan's best knife makers. Upon arrival, receive an explanation regarding the handling of dangerous objects (knives), machinery, and an insurance application.

    Then, enjoy a knife factory tour and fruit knife crafting experience. Polish the blade and watch as a craftsman sharpens the edge. Assemble the handle and take the completed knife home.

    Get an up-close and personal view of how the craftsmen work. There's also a tax-free showroom. A licensed guide will accompany you and help with translation.
