Discover the Magic of the 5 Island Tour in Mauritius
Embark on an unforgettable journey with our 5 Island Tour in Mauritius, a full-day adventure that takes you through some of the most breathtaking and pristine islands in the region. Perfect for nature lovers, sunseekers, and those looking to explore the crystal-clear lagoons of the east coast, this boat tour is a must-do experience.
Tour Highlights:
Île aux Cerfs – The most iconic island of Mauritius, famous for its turquoise lagoons, white sandy beaches, and water sports.
Île aux Flamants – A peaceful sandbank perfect for swimming, snorkeling, and soaking in the sun.
Île aux Aigrettes – A protected nature reserve, home to rare species and native vegetation.
Île aux Phares – Rich in history, this island features one of the oldest lighthouses in Mauritius with panoramic views of the surrounding waters. The site of Ile aux Phares is where, as the name suggests, an old lighthouse dating back more than 200 years stands, now declared a historical monument. In 1810, Ile aux Phares and Ile de la Passe were the theater of a battle between the French and the British, known as the naval battle of Grand Port, which is the only victory of the Napoleonic Navy and is also listed on the Arc de Triomphe in Paris.
In addition to the historic aspect of the islands, you will be made privy to a striking sight within the water. The contrast between both sides of the island is breathtaking: on one side you will find the lagoon turquoise and calm, and on the other, the big waves of the Indian Ocean smash against the breakers of the island.
Île de la Passe – A historical gem that played a key role in the naval battles between the French and British during colonial times.
