Wondering why Tromsø is nicknamed “The Gateway to the Arctic”? Join us on our city tour to find out! Travel through time starting at the end of the ice-age, jumping into the 1800’s, and ending with contemporary life in Tromsø.

Your tour begins after meeting your host in our cosy shop in the city centre. From there, you will set off to learn about our fascinating history and culture and see iconic monuments and places such as the Arctic Cathedral, harbour, and Storgata.
Your guide will make the experience come alive with stories, local tips, and photo stops along the way.

The tour also includes entrance to the Polar Museum, and, when booking the private tour, lunch at one of our favorite local restaurants is also included.

As we are in the Arctic please wear wind and rainproof clothes, and comfortable shoes- layers are key even during the summer months!
