As we depart from Tromsø, settle into the comfort of our bus and enjoy the journey into the Arctic landscape. Our experienced guides will share information about the Northern Lights, including the science and stories surrounding this natural phenomenon.
We travel through snowy landscapes, past frozen lakes and mountains, while our guides use Aurora forecasts to find suitable locations away from the city lights.
Our guides are also photographers and will take Northern Lights photos when conditions allow. They can also give you tips on using your own camera or smartphone.
Hot drinks are served on board throughout the evening.

• The purpose of the chase is to find clear skies away from Tromsø and light pollution. Once we find suitable conditions, the final outcome depends on nature.
• The Aurora can appear brighter in photographs than to the naked eye. We cannot control how strong or visible it will be.
• Please dress warmly. Temperatures can reach –25°C at some locations.
• The chase can involve periods of waiting outdoors while we look for suitable conditions.
• Sometimes challenging weather means we need to travel to specific locations where other tour operators and guests may also be present. We always aim to find quieter and scenic locations whenever conditions allow.
• If you have any questions, please ask our guides. We aim to be honest and transparent about the conditions and what to expect.
