Your Trois Frères hiking experience begins with hotel pickup and a short drive to the trailhead, where you meet your guide and receive a briefing on the route and conditions. The hike starts on a forest path that quickly becomes steeper, with root-covered ground and granite sections requiring steady footing. As you gain elevation, the trail opens to viewpoints overlooking Victoria, the east coast of Mahé, and the surrounding mountain range.

Along the way, your guide shares knowledge about the island’s native flora, birdlife, and the geological features that shape this landscape, while adjusting the pace to suit the group. The upper sections of the trail are more technical and physically demanding, offering a sense of adventure and achievement. At the viewpoint, you have time to rest, take photographs, and appreciate the dramatic contrast between dense forest, urban areas, and the ocean below. The hike then returns along the same route before a comfortable drive back to your accommodation.

Kindly be advised that the official Trois Frères trail, as approved by the entry ticket, ends at the kiosk. Access to the cross is a separate and much higher section of the mountain and is not authorised under the entry ticket.
