The Niagara Glen Nature Areas is a 35-hectare nature reserve located deep within the Niagara Gorge, offering a rugged alternative to the commercialized tourist areas of Niagara Falls. 'Big Becky', the world's largest boring machine at the time, was used for six years earlier this century to bore a replacement tunnel to supply water from the upper Niagara River over a distance of 10.2 kilometers.
