What you can expect

  • Do you want to learn the secrets of Mexican cuisine but don't have much time? This experience is perfect for you! We offer a light, dynamic, and delicious version of our classic cooking class, focused on the essentials: the market, the ingredients, and the seasoning.

Our adventure begins at a vibrant local market. Together with our guide, you'll stroll through the colorful aisles to immerse yourself in Mexico's culinary culture. You'll learn how to identify key ingredients, from the variety of chilies to aromatic herbs, and we'll select the freshest ingredients for our cooking session.

Then we'll head to the kitchen, where you'll put on your apron. Unlike other longer workshops, here we'll get straight to the point. You can choose and prepare one of the following iconic dishes, each made from scratch with its respective traditional add-ons (sauces, side dishes, and finishing touches):

Carne en su jugo: A comforting and flavorful Guadalajara classic with bacon and beans.

Chile relleno: The perfect balance of tradition, batter, and a spectacular sauce.

Tacos Gobernador: Delicious shrimp tacos with melted cheese and a smoky touch.

Fajitas: A juicy option, full of color and flavor.

Chilaquiles: The king of Mexican cuisine, crispy and smothered in the sauce of your choice.

Gorditas: Filled with flavor and with that perfect texture of handmade corn.

Huitlacoche quesadillas: An ancient delicacy with the “black gold” of Mexican cuisine.

Do you have dietary restrictions? No worries! We have delicious vegan options adapted so that no one misses out on cooking or enjoying authentic Mexican flavors.

Important note: To keep this experience light, fast-paced, and accessible, this workshop does not include breakfast beforehand, tequila tasting, or dessert. We focus 100% on making sure you master the main dish you have chosen.

At the end, we'll sit down to enjoy the masterpiece you've prepared yourself. You'll take home the knowledge and recipes to recreate these flavors anywhere in the world. Enjoy your meal!
