Discover a greener side of Finland’s capital on a small-group Helsinki bike or e-bike tour with a vegetarian BBQ and Finnish sauna experience. Explore peaceful bays, seaside paths, parks and forests with a local guide, away from the busy city centre.
Cycle along Huopalahti Bay and through Meilahti’s green spaces, including the Meilahti Arboretum. Along the way, hear stories about Finnish nature, local history and everyday life in Helsinki.
On Seurasaari island, leave the bicycles behind for a guided walk among historic wooden buildings and scenic coastal surroundings. Look out for squirrels and seabirds as you explore this peaceful corner of the city.
Take a relaxing break for a Finnish-style vegetarian or vegan BBQ. Enjoy local flavours, share stories with your guide and fellow travellers, and soak up the island’s atmosphere before continuing your ride.
Pedal past green spaces and historic villas towards a traditional Finnish sauna. Discover Finnish sauna customs and experience löyly, the warmth and steam created by pouring water over hot sauna stones. Sauna admission and towels are included.
Before returning to the meeting point, cycle through Keskuspuisto, Helsinki’s Central Park: an urban forest that brings nature into the heart of the capital.
The cycling distance is approximately 15 km, divided into three sections of around 5 km each. Ride at an easy pace suitable for active beginners and casual cyclists who can confidently ride a bicycle. Choose a regular bicycle or request an e-bike at no extra cost by contacting us immediately after booking.
Enjoy a light-hearted quiz along the way, with a small Finnish-themed prize for the winner. Travelling with luggage? You can leave your bag in our storage during the tour. The meeting point is on the same train line as Helsinki Airport, making it convenient to reach by train.
Solo travellers are welcome! We run the tour even with just 1 guest and never cancel because the group is too small.
