From Toulouse we'll first drive to the Pech Merle Cavern to see the amazing prehistoric paintings and explore the fascinating cavern. This fabulous cavern has it all: Stalactites, Stalagmites, other geological curiosities, and authentic poly-chromatic paintings from our ancestors 13,000 - 26,000 years ago.
Next we'll drive to St Cirq-LaPopie. This medieval village is perched up high on a cliff overlooking the Lot river. One of the most beautiful villages in France, its sure to capture your heart. This will be a nice place to have lunch.
On the way back to Toulouse we'll stop briefly in Cahors to visit the famous medieval fortified bridge: The Pont Valentre
