Visit the former capital of Provence Aix-en-Provence where you will feel the true flavour of the region, with its boulevards framed by plane trees and terraces of the cafés and brasseries where locals meet for a glass of rosé or pastis. Stroll in the boulevards, the Cours Mirabeau and its famous fountains.

Then head for Cassis, this small port really can be proud of its magnificent surroundings: especially En Vau Calanque. Explore the Cap Canaille which forms an immense stone rampart. These mountain cliffs are one of the highest maritime cliffs in Europe.
