    Start the tour by admiring the main facade of the cathedral, famous for its monumental doors. Note the Portal of the Lions, adorned with elaborate statues. Inside the cathedral, see its beautifully illuminated cloister. See how the vaults and galleries allow the light to seep through the huge arches.

    Discover the architectural elements that indicate the Islamic history of the site. During the tour, learn also why the city of Toledo is a confluence of three religions: Christianity, Islam, and Judaism. Explore the many beautiful sections of the cathedral including the main altar, the sacristy, and the chapter room, where religious ceremonies take place.
