  • Please wear comfortable walking shoes (trekking shoes are ideal). To protect from insects, long sleeves and long pants are recommended. Gloves are also useful.
  • During summer, UV protection is important – long-sleeved, easily removable clothing is best.
  • There are limited shelters, so please bring rain gear. It can also be used as a jacket in case of cold weather.
  • Depending on the weather or crowd conditions, your stay time at the site may be shortened, or the hike may be canceled.
  • In the event of stormy weather, the tour may be changed to a different sightseeing destination.
  • The order of stops may vary depending on your bus assignment.

Escape the city and refresh your body and mind with a full day of hiking in Oze, one of Japan’s most beloved national parks. This overnight bus tour allows you to enjoy the beauty of Oze at your own pace with plenty of time to explore.

In spring, the marshlands are filled with blooming skunk cabbages; in summer, yellow alpine lilies cover the fields; and in autumn, golden-colored grasses paint the wetlands. Experience the seasonal beauty unique to Oze.

Depart from Shinjuku late at night and head directly to Hatomachi Pass by minibus or microbus—no transfers required. Use the same bus for both outbound and return travel, so you can leave unnecessary belongings on board and enjoy your hike light and free.

After your hike, refresh yourself at a rustic hot spring — either Hanasaku-no-Yu or Bokujo-no-Yu (facility cannot be selected). Admission and a face towel are included.
