Originating in the Heian period (794–1185), it was first used by aristocrats for leisure on the water and later became popular with merchants and townspeople during the Edo period (1603–1868). The boat's interior features lantern-style decor with traditional Japanese elements, adorned with a cherry blossom theme, perfect for photos and social media, blending the past and present.
