  • Tokyo Asakusa Private Kimono Photoshoot & Rental — Please Read Before Booking
    Welcome to our studio in historic Asakusa! Solo, couple or family, we'd love to create beautiful memories with you.

    OUR EXPERIENCES:

    1. Asakusa Kimono Photoshoot & Walking Tour: a standard Komon kimono (Yukata in summer) with a 1-hour private photoshoot, all originals + generous retouched images.
    2. All-Inclusive Luxury Kimono & 1-Hour Photoshoot: our finest — any piece from our premium collection (furisode, houmongi, rare silk, master-crafted); ideal for 160cm+, please check first.
    3. Asakusa Curated Kimono Rental (Photoshoot Optional): 33 curated Komon, lace and Yukata (summer) pieces. Women's styles included; men's, children's, premium styles and a 1-hour photoshoot are add-ons.

    EVERY KIMONO OPTION INCLUDES: dressing, basic hair styling (for sufficient hair length), obi, kimono bag, Geta or Zori sandals and new Tabi socks. Try-ons aren't available, but our stylists will gladly help you choose. Full-face makeup is not included.

    YOUR DAY: Your booking time is your studio arrival; please allow about 2 hours for dressing and hair. Then meet your photographer nearby (or add the optional escort for studio pick-up) for serene hidden corners away from the Senso-ji crowds, chosen on the day.

    GOOD TO KNOW:

    • Please choose all add-ons when booking (hair upgrades need a kimono, extra retouched photos a photoshoot); changes can't be made on the day.
    • Basic hair styling offers 4 simple set styles; for a specific look, we recommend a hair upgrade.
    • Children are very welcome! Kids' kimono start at 80cm, with limited choice per size as sizes vary; little ones can also join photos in their own clothes.
    • Retouched photos are per booking, not per person; extras via GetYourGuide.
    • Kindly return everything by 17:30, when our studio closes.
    • Popular spots may need a short wait in peak seasons; your photographer will look after you.
