This excursion invites to discover the Southern part of the island, where the last volcanic eruptions of Lanzarote in the 18th century took place for six long years and allows us to see and understand the impact of the landscape.

In the center of our visit, the National Park of Timanfaya, of immense beauty, has been the shooting location for several films that had to recreate other planets, Mars for example, or remote eras of our own planet.

We will watch geothermal demonstrations in the area of the Islet of Hilario, where the latent heat left by the eruptions still feels strongly. Afterwards we will take the famous Volcanoes Route.

Around the Park, we find astounding landscapes, such as the Sea of Lava near the white village of Yaiza, Los Hervideros, El Golfo, the Green Lake, El Camacho, or El Echadero de Camellos, where you can take a ride on a camel, or the unique area of La Geria, famous for its Malvasia grape vineyards and the peculiar formula that the locals had to figure out to be able to cultivate this impossible land.
