Saint Mary's Glacier is a pristine, semi-permanent mountain snowfield perched above St. Mary's lake in Arapaho National Forest near Yankee Hill Road. Often described as the best of Clear Creek County Jeeping, Yankee Hill Road is a classic traverse of mining roads and Jeep trails that feature steep climbs, big rocks, washed out crossings, and downright challenging obstacles. Bill Moore Lake is a beautiful high country lake situated at over 11,000 feet and surrounded by groves of aspen and pine. A road that would challenge most stock SUVs, Bill Moore Lake can be a great challenge with a wonderful reward at the end.
