What you can expect
The north coast of Cornwall is a different beast entirely — wilder, more exposed, and steeped in a history of shipwrecks, mining and seafaring. Departing from Hayle, Coast Boat Trips takes you further along this extraordinary coastline than most visitors ever get to see.
Heading north towards the dramatic St Agnes Head, our route takes in some of the most breathtaking scenery on the entire Cornish coast. Expect to pass the majestic Pendeen Lighthouse, Seal Island, the ancient Botallack Mines, Godrevy Lighthouse and the fearsome cliffs of Hell’s Mouth — a coastline steeped in history, geology and wildlife at every turn.
On board, your guide is a qualified wildlife and ecology specialist. This isn’t just a sightseeing trip — it’s a deep, expert-led exploration of one of the UK’s most biodiverse and historically rich coastlines. You’ll leave knowing this coastline in a way that most people never do.
Dolphins, seals, porpoise, tuna, incredible seabird colonies — the north coast’s nutrient-rich waters attract an extraordinary range of marine life. Combined with the towering cliffs, hidden coves and ancient landmarks, this is a trip that stays with you long after you’ve stepped back ashore.
