This is not a typical tour. It is a cultural and historical journey through the Netherlands — told through the life of Vincent van Gogh. As we travel through the Dutch countryside, you won’t just see where Van Gogh lived. You will understand the society, rural life, religion, and culture that shaped his perspective, his struggles, and ultimately his art. Travel in a small group, away from the crowds, and experience the Netherlands in a deeper, more meaningful way. We take care of everything: minivan, lunch, dinner, (soundproof quiet) hotel, entries to museums and moreover: a deep understanding of the Netherlands and Van Gogh by a trained experienced native Dutch art historian (also fluent in French, next to English and Dutch).
We offer a two day tour visiting also other very interesting venues like the Kroller Museum (with a superb collection of Van Goghs), the national park De Hoge Veluwe (where we can bike for free), the open air museum Arnhem, small fortress city Heusden and historic city Amersfoort.
We can pick you up at your hotel or other venue in the region of Amsterdam, Utrecht, Leiden, Haarlem, The Hague, Rotterdam. We will also include some fun games, storytelling and quizzes about the Netherlands.
