From prehistoric times to the modern era, the halls of the Saudi National Museum take you on a captivating journey that transcends time and place. The museum was inaugurated in 1419 AH (1999 AD) and covers an area of 17,000 square meters, showcasing the stories of 3,700 heritage artifacts, including unique statues, manuscripts and sculptures.
The Saudi National Museum consists of eight sections rich in historical spirit. The journey begins in the “Man and the Universe hall, where you learn about the origin of the universe, the solar system, and the natural factors that have shaped its development over millions of years
The Hall of Ancient Arabian Kingdoms allows visitors to immerse themselves in civilizations dating from the fourth millennium BC to the second century AD, while the Pre Islamic Era Hall highlights religious and social life patterns before Islam.
