Free visit to the magnificent historic center of Marsala, to admire the buildings, stroll through ancient and more modern history, because it was in Marsala that the thousand landed for the unification of Italy. We will continue always accompanied by an expert local guide towards the salt pans of Trapani still in production today, immersing ourselves in the colors of pink, blue, green, orange and white, an enchanted place that, thanks to the Florio family, has marked the history of the tuna canning industry, you can walk along the salt pans, visit an ancient mill from the 1400s and its museum inside, with the ancient tools, the millstone, the shovels … to understand how salt was once produced and how it is produced today.
