Day 1: Ulaanbaatar – Terelj National Park – Herder Family Experience
In the morning, depart from Ulaanbaatar and drive toward Gorkhi-Terelj National Park (approximately 1 hour). On the way, stop at a local supermarket to purchase snacks and drinking water.
Upon arrival in the Terelj area, visit a traditional Mongolian herder family. Experience authentic nomadic daily life and learn about Mongolian culture and traditions, including a detailed explanation of the traditional ger (yurt). Enjoy lunch either with the herder family or at a local ger café.
After lunch, continue your sightseeing with a visit to a souvenir shop near Turtle Rock, followed by exploring the famous Turtle Rock natural formation. Then visit Aryabal Meditation Temple.
Enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings with optional activities such as hiking, horse riding, and taking photos with eagles alongside local trainers.
In the evening, stay overnight at a ger (yurt) guesthouse or rooms depending on weather conditions. The ger is a traditional shared accommodation with 2–3 beds, and male and female guests are accommodated separately.
You will also experience eco-friendly hospitality at a farm guesthouse that supports green business initiatives. Meals are prepared using organic vegetables grown in their own greenhouse. The guesthouse provides modern facilities including showers, electricity, and Wi-Fi, and offers a great opportunity to connect with travelers from around the world.

Day 2: Terelj National Park – Ulaanbaatar
After breakfast, enjoy a 1-hour hike in the surrounding mountains and take in the peaceful natural scenery.
Then visit the impressive Genghis Khan Equestrian Statue, the largest equestrian statue in Mongolia.
After the visit, drive back toward Ulaanbaatar. On the way, stop for lunch at a local restaurant.
Upon arrival in the city, visit either Narantuul Market or Dunjingarav Market, where you can explore local goods and experience everyday Mongolian market life.
