Hi, I'm Guille, a certified mountain guide (Técnico Deportivo) based in Tenerife. Join me for a full day of multi-pitch climbing in Teide National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most impressive volcanic landscapes in Europe.
Multi-pitch climbing takes sport climbing to the next level: we'll climb walls over 100 meters high, pitch by pitch, surrounded by lava flows, volcanic towers and views of Mount Teide. The day lasts approximately 4 to 6 hours.
We usually choose a route around grade V. If you're more experienced, we can go for harder lines. The group is private: just you, or you and your climbing partner (maximum 2 climbers per guide).
What you'll learn: a clear communication code on the wall, double rope management, belaying and working at the stations, and abseiling (on routes where it's included).
Requirements: you should be comfortable climbing at least V+/6a, outdoors or in a climbing gym.
Prefer climbing by the sea? On request, we can swap Teide for Taganana, in Anaga Rural Park, where volcanic cliffs rise straight above the Atlantic Ocean. Just let us know when you book. We'll also move there if the weather in the high mountains isn't good.
Come and enjoy a day you won't forget on the island of a thousand landscapes!
