A scenic paddle upon the Lake McLaren is a must-do whilst you are visiting Tauranga!

You will be transported from the meeting point directly to the tour launch site. Your experienced kayak guide will prepare and brief you on how to kayak effectively before taking you to picturesque Lake McLaren.

Gently paddle a kayak past a multitude of birdlife, literally within paddles' reach. Sheer cliffs break the stark lush native bush as gentle streams enter the lake's edge. Kayak into the stunning Mangapapa canyon with water as deep as the cliffs on the sides, where the native bush appears to touch and form a cave.

This is a fully guided scenic kayak tour at an easy pace. All equipment is provided, and a moderate level of fitness is required. The tour includes transport from the meeting point to the tour launch site and return.
