The Cemetery of Merit in Pęksowy Brzyzek in Zakopane – the first cemetery in Zakopane.

Jaszczurówka – a part of Zakopane located in its eastern part, by the Oswald Balzer, approx. 4 km from the town centre. The name comes from the spotted salamanders living in the area of the hot spring outlet, called ‘lizards’ by the highlanders.

Krupówki - are a representative street in Zakopane located in the city centre. They start at the intersection with Nowotarska and go south along the more than kilometre long promenade. They are an extension of Zamoyskiego Street. After lunch we will visit Villa "Koliba" - a villa in Zakopane, erected in the years 1892–1893 in the Zakopane style, designed by Stanisław Witkiewicz; the first house built in the Zakopane style; entered into the register of monuments in 1983. The name 'koliba' is a shepherd's hut in highlander dialect.

The name "Jaszczurówka" comes from the spotted salamanders that used to live here, called by the highlanders "lizards".The structure of the main altar resembles a highlander's hut. On both sides of the altar, there are two colourful stained glass windows with the coats of arms of Poland and Lithuania, designed by Stanisław Witkiewicz. The chapel in Jaszczurówka is one of the most beautiful monuments of Zakopane art and style in Poland.
