Day 1: Hobart to Queenstown
Discover Salamanca Market's for local handicrafts and produce then depart for the West Coast. Walk amongst some of the world’s tallest trees and the cascading Russell Falls. Visit Australia’s deepest freshwater lake, Lake St Clair. Enjoy short walks in Franklin Gordon Wild Rivers National Park.

Day 2: Gordon River Cruise to Tullah
Cruise along the magnificent Gordon River. Explore the convict site of Sarah Island and venture into the World Heritage rainforests with ancient huon pines. Enjoy lunch aboard the ship featuring Tasmanian produce. Journey to the tiny town of Tullah. Take in magnificent views across Lake Rosebery and see the rugged peaks of Mount Murchison. Share in a group dinner and relax in the lakeside chalet. Overnight Tullah Lakeside Lodge.
Day 3: Tullah to Launceston via Cradle Mountain National Park
At Ronny Creek, meander along the boardwalk to look for wombats. At Dove Lake, spend 2-3 hours circling the glacial carved lake beneath towering mountains and diverse alpine vegetation. Or, take in the valley views from the Boat Shed or Glacial Rock. This afternoon, enjoy the “Town of Murals” at Sheffield, before arriving in Launceston.

Day 4: Bay of Fires to Scamander
Take a leisurely walk in Cataract Gorge, a scenic nature reserve nestled along the South Esk River, just minutes from downtown Launceston. Travel to Tasmania’s East Coast and upon reaching the Larapuna/Bay of Fires with its bright white sands, vivid turquoise waters, and striking orange-hued granite boulders. This evening we’ll stay in Scamander, overlooking the picturesque beach and calm waters of the Scamander River.

Day 5: Freycinet to Orford
Meet Tasmanian devils at a wildlife sanctuary, before passing through Bicheno on our way to Freycinet National Park. Honeymoon Bay, marvel at the striking pink granite peaks of the Hazards Mountains. Walk to the famous Wineglass Bay lookout for unforgettable views and visit Cape Tourville for breathtaking panoramas.

Day 6: Tasman Peninsula to Hobart
Travel to the Tasman Peninsula and explore Tasman National Park with its geological wonders of the Tessellated Pavement, Tasman Arch, and Devil’s Kitchen. At UNESCO World Heritage listed Port Arthur Historic Site, discover this fascinating open-air museum that unearths the stories of Tasmania’s convict past. On our return to Hobart, we’ll stop in the historic village of Richmond, completing our unforgettable journey.
