What you can expect

  • Travel comfortably between Uzbekistan’s capital Tashkent and the historic city of Samarkand with the modern Afrosiyob high-speed train. The journey takes about 2 hours 10–20 minutes and operates daily in both directions (Tashkent → Samarkand and Samarkand → Tashkent), making it perfect for day trips and flexible travel plans.

Choose between Economy, Business, or VIP class with comfortable air-conditioned seating. Book your tickets online by selecting your route, date, train, and seat, after which an e-ticket is issued for boarding.

Because seats sell out quickly, booking in advance is recommended. The high-speed train is the fastest and most convenient city-center to city-center transport option for tourists and business travelers in Uzbekistan.
