Our adventure begins in the charming hilltop medieval village of Castelmola! Here we will pause to explore the cultural significance of the bar's iconic phallic shapes. Far from being vulgar, they are a vibrant tribute to ancient Greek culture, symbolizing the very essence of freedom, fertility, and life. This is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of the famous almond wine along with delicious Sicilian cannoli or other local delicacies.
Our journey continues with the descent to the renowned Taormina, entering through the historic Porta Catania arch. We will immerse ourselves in the city's rich past, exploring the spectacular Greek-Roman amphitheater, a masterpiece of ancient engineering with breathtaking views of Mount Etna and the sea and then we will go to the stunning and magical Lady Florece Trevelyan Public Garden. Next, we will stroll along Corso Umberto, the lively main street and ancient decumanus, lined with elegant boutiques and historic buildings.
Finally, we will drive to a strategic and unique vantage point to admire and photograph the breathtaking view of the iconic Isola Bella, leaving you with an indelible and unforgettable memory of our beautiful land.
