Day 1: Introductory walk - Caiman sighting
-The exciting excursion begins with our departure from the meeting point at 9:30 am.
-We will navigate by boat on the Madre de Dios River until we reach our lodge.
-Once there, we will enjoy lunch and begin the adventure with a walk through the jungle.
-During this tour, we will learn about medicinal plants and marvel at the majestic ancient trees. If we are lucky, we will also spot some monkeys, birds, insects and other animals.
-In the afternoon, we will go in search of caimans that come out to hunt, such as capybaras or picuros.
-Then, at 19:30, we will have dinner and spend the night at the lodge.
Day 2: Sandoval Lake - Fishing - Night Excursion
-We will start the day with a delicious early breakfast. This day we will explore the enchanting Sandoval Lake, a natural paradise filled with a unique diversity of flora and fauna. If we are lucky, we may spot river otters, turtles, monkeys and much more.
-Afterwards, we will enjoy a comforting lunch.
-In the afternoon, we will practice sport fishing, with the possibility of catching piranhas, pacos, gamitanas, catfish and other fish of the region.
-Then, we will venture on a night walk, where we will observe grasshoppers, reptiles, snakes, lizards and listen to the fascinating symphony of sounds of the jungle.
-On our return, a delicious dinner awaits us. Optionally, we will have a session around the campfire.
Day 3: Tapir Trail - Excursion to Monkey Island
-We will start the day with an early and nutritious breakfast. This day we will explore the mammal lick, where we will be able to observe the Tapir feeding on minerals, as well as spot some jungle rodents.
-We will return to the lodge to enjoy lunch. After a short rest, we will head downstream by boat to Monkey Island, where we will interact with some of these fascinating primates.
-In the evening, we will enjoy a delicious dinner. Afterwards, we will have the option to participate in a jungle storytelling session around the campfire.
-Overnight at the lodge.
Día 4: Kayak - Regreso a la ciudad
-Empezaremos el día con un nutritivo desayuno antes de embarcarnos en una actividad de kayak por el río Madre de Dios, con la guía de un instructor.
-Durante el recorrido, podrás admirar la belleza de las mariposas que revolotean en las orillas, así como observar tortugas descansando y otros animales.
-Después de volver para comer y preparar nuestras pertenencias, regresaremos a la ciudad.
