Your Amazon experience begins at 09:00 AM with a transfer from Puerto Maldonado to the Puerto Acosta pier. From there, you will travel by motorized boat along the Madre de Dios River, enjoying scenic rainforest landscapes on the way to Paradise Amazon Ecolodge.
Upon arrival, our staff will assist you with check-in before starting the first activities inside the Tambopata rainforest.
Canopy Walk Experience
Begin the adventure with a short walk to the Canopy Tower, located beside an impressive Lupuna tree, one of the symbolic giants of the Amazon rainforest. From the elevated platform, enjoy panoramic jungle views and opportunities to observe colorful bird species and native wildlife while learning about the local ecosystem from your guide.

At approximately 09:30 AM, begin the journey toward the Sandoval Lake Reserve area. After a short river crossing and registration at the control station, continue with a guided walk through the rainforest trail leading to Lake Sandoval.
Along the route, discover the rich biodiversity of the Tambopata region, including native plants, tropical birds, monkeys, and other wildlife commonly found in the area. With favorable conditions, visitors may also observe giant river otters in their natural habitat.
