Come to the meeting point and follow the guide to explore the old town of Ximen. Go to the National Museum of Taiwan and stop for a while. Pass by famous landmarks of the old town, including the 228 Peace Memorial Park, and learn the story of the 228 tragedy from your guide as you explore.

Check out the Presidential Office, known for its architecture. Next, go to the city markets and see all the stalls selling souvenirs and more. After this, head to Zhongshan Hall, a historic building that used to be a public auditorium. Keep walking to explore Ximending, known as a shopping district.

Arrive at the Red House, a red-brick Western building made in the shape of an octagon, which was the city's first public market. Finally, finish the tour with a new understanding of Taipei's history and learn what transformed it into the city it is today.
