  • Welcome to Tahiti Safari Islander,

    We will go to the heart of the island of Tahiti. You'll be able to see beautiful mountains, waterfalls, and natural pools.

    You can enjoy a beautiful panorama while seated in a new and comfortable open-top 4x4 with local music playing in the back. If it is sunny, we will go swimming in the natural pools, and if it is raining, we can enjoy the many waterfalls. We look forward to helping you discover this Polynesian treasure.

    PLEASE NOTE: The road is very bumpy.
    There are 37 km to travel in the mountains. The road is not cemented or paved. If you don't feel up to it, please take another, more relaxed excursion, such as the tour of the island of Tahiti.

    For your outing, be sure to bring:

    • towels
    • swimming gear
    • mosquito spray,
    • Slippers, flip-flops (no shoes)
    • raincoats
    • 2 liters of water
    • your picnic (sandwiches, etc.)

    At noon, we will stop at a bakery to get something to eat and drink. (Not included).

    Itinerary for the day trip with Tahiti Safari Islander:

    8:10 AM: Pickup at your hotel
    8:40 am: Stop at the bakery or store (meal not included; allow €5 per person)
    9:20 AM: Departure for the start of the Papenoo Valley
    (mountain, trees, waterfalls, stories, legends)
    11:30 AM: Picnic and swim break
    12:30 pm: We set off again for the excursion with the caldera, the volcano, the mountains, the waterfalls, the basalt tunnel, and Lake Vaihiria
    3:00 PM: Departure from the valley
    3:30 PM: Arrival at your hotel, end of the excursion.
