Overview

Teresa was born in Syracuse and grew up here with her family. Teresa will guide you throughout the experience from beginning to end and will be a practical and easy cooking course for everyone.
At the market Teresa will explain curiosities about food, basic recipes and you can taste small portions of local food.
Cook & Enjoy (from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.) : With the ingredients we have selected at the market we will cook three traditional family dishes. The menu is seasonal and changes daily.
The menu will be customized if you have your own needs.At Teresa's Villa you will also discover Sicilian hospitality.
If there are foods you don't love it's necessary to communicate them when you book.
By booking this experience you will have a collection of family recipes. Two new apartments are available to host you in Ortigia.Ask for info.

Meeting point : We will meet at 8 : 30 at the Ortigia market (Burgio Salumeria), located near the port where cruise ships dock. Ortigia market tour (8 : 30 - 9 : 30) Enjoy a delightful walk through the lively market,shopping food,discovering local flavors, basic recipes,tasting Sicilian specialties and learning about fresh and preserved food .15 minutes by car there is my Villa in the seaside area where the lesson will take place .Request private transport you book the experience .In the second part of the experience we will prepare a traditional lunch using some of the fresh ingredients selected at the market, and savor the delicious dishes you've created. This is a convivial experience and is perfect for couples, families or small groups. Ask about an accommodation if IT is useful for you.
