What you can expect

Visit one of the most picturesque islands of the Dodecanese during your holidays in Rhodes with this cruise to the tiny island of Symi. Admire the calm atmosphere and fabulous architecture that amazes visitors to the island, along with one of the most impressive ports in Greece.

Set out from Rhodes Harbor for a 2-hour cruise across the scenic waters of the Aegean Sea. When the ship arrives at the island of Symi, you can take a guided tour along the narrow streets of the village of Yialos and visit local sponge and spice shops. With some free time to spend on your own, explore the village and take some beautiful photos.

At noon, the ship sails to the next stop, the Monastery of the Archangel Michael Panormitis. Tied with the Christian faith of the Symiot people, the monastery features an interior covered with wall paintings made by native hagiographers from the Byzantine period. A pair of museums in the monastery host collections of religious items and an exhibition of local folk culture.

In the afternoon, sail back to the port of Rhodes as your tour comes to an end.
